WHAT DOES A LEAD ENGINEER - PROJECT MANAGER DO?

As a Lead Engineer - Project Manager, you're in charge of steering the projects from the first purchase orders to their triumphant acceptance. Your mission is to make sure that every project meets its targets and shines in quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness. You possess outstanding communication skills, and as the primary point of contact for all project needs, you manage and schedule all Buhler Project Management meetings with ease. By working closely with department managers, you ensure the project's flow is the best it can be.

Not only that, you take care of project status reporting, maintain project master files, and handle project changes through CAF, ECR, and NCR. As the leader of "Project After Action Reviews" (PAAR), you're always on the lookout for ways to promote continuous improvement. This engineering role is full of adventure, both nationally and internationally, and offers you the chance to grow your skills on a global scale while experiencing new cultures. With the potential for up to 25% travel, this is an exciting position that allows you to make a significant impact and advance your technology career

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR LEAD ENGINEER - PROJECT MANAGER

  • 4-year Engineering degree OR other training experience
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in a team environment and managing a work group
  • Ability to manage customer relations
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite

An understanding of die-casting machinery specifications, automation, and die-casting processes is preferred but not required. Having a PMP certification and German language skills would be a plus.
