WHAT YOUR DAY IS LIKE

The Veterinary Tech position entails a full-time schedule, consisting of four 10-hour shifts per week, with a rotating weekend schedule. As a Veterinary Tech, your daily responsibilities will include technical care for pets such as blood draws, IV catheter placement, and assisting with X-rays. Additionally, you will play a vital role in assisting veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures. Your duties will also involve anesthesia monitoring, surgery preparation, and the maintenance of surgical equipment. Each day, you will uphold the highest standards of professionalism and compassion while providing essential support to our veterinary team.

WHAT'S NEEDED FROM A VETERINARY TECH?

• Interest in self-development and growth
• License in New York valid and up to date
• Same for associate New York license valid and up to date

Experience with animal rehab and physical therapy as well as rescue work is a bonus. An active and good-standing license as a Veterinary Technician in the state of New York is ideal
