Position Overview:

We seek a Senior-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead, organize, manage, and execute Mechanical Engineering work within our project portfolio.


Locations:

Upstate New York, Connecticut


The work you do:

  • Portfolio and Project Management: Oversee project portfolios, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Client Facing: Drive business growth by cultivating strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for expansion within the Northeast region.
  • Production and lead the innovative design of HVAC, HVAC controls, chillers, boilers, water distribution, ductwork, plumbing, and fire protection systems for clients, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior department members, fostering their professional growth and development.


Qualifications:

  • Strategic Vision: Demonstrate a consultant mindset, capable of understanding and navigating the broader strategic landscape.
  • Experience: Possess 8+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience, with a focus on air handling and distribution systems, ventilation/exhaust, hydronic systems, building controls, and process piping.
  • Solid knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and codes governing Mechanical Engineering practices.
  • Education: Hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited 4-year institution.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, with strong skills in MS Office.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work independently, hybrid work environment with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and accountability.
  • Licensure: PE license is highly desired but not required.
