- Under the guidance of the Level 3 Trainor or Team Leader, the operator learns skills related to the department.

- Preforms basic deburring on product.
- Learns basics of safety, sawing, drilling, materials, turning, and speeds and feeds.
- Learns safe operation of, receives practical experience on: lathes and milling machines within the department. they are assigned.
- Follows sequence of operation on router.
- Communicates with co-workers, and team leader to receive instructions and coordinate activities.
- High school diploma or general education degree ((lED) or equivalent.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to travel stairs.
- Ability to communicate and get along with other employees.
- Must have a good work ethic.
- Must be dependable and flexibly with a good attendance record.
- Must have aspirations of becoming a machinist.
- Must stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to floor.
- Exerts between 10 and 50 pounds on frequent basis.
