The Senior Project Manager - Business Analyst Team Consultant is responsible for managing, directing, and planning multiple projects, which range from small to medium to complex, within the Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA). This role involves coordination, scheduling, and assignment of project tasks, management of resource plans, team building, and maintaining working relationships with client functional areas at IHDA, external customers, and vendors.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct one or more project teams to meet complex project objectives.
  • Monitor project timelines for application releases and track progress.
  • Review, track, evaluate, and formulate project plans, resource plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Allocate staff and budget resources to meet changing corporate needs.
  • Identify and negotiate schedules, milestones, and resources required to meet project objectives.
  • Organize and guide project operations using industry-accepted methodologies.
  • Evaluate and report progress in terms of quality and performance metrics common to IT projects.
  • Modify schedules as required to adapt to changing project conditions.
  • Work with client departments to coordinate systems testing, installation, training, and support.
  • Contribute to the disaster recovery plan and assist in its implementation when necessary.
  • Stay informed about technical and managerial advances in IT.
  • Provide input for employee evaluations and reviews.
  • Manage the balance of team resources to ensure coverage for the duration of the project.
  • Facilitate communication between IT and production teams for status updates.
  • Manage the deployment of deliverables and release management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or requested.

Mandatory Requirement:

  • Candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years' experience in finding experienced and qualified Senior Project Management professionals.
