Join our Team as a Route Driver

Are you a reliable and customer-focused driver looking for a new opportunity? Cottonwood Distribution is seeking a dedicated Route Driver to join our team In this role, you will ensure the safe and timely delivery of convenience store products to retail locations across Utah.

Why Join Us?

  • Consistent Schedule: Work a regular four-day, 10-hour shift, Monday through Friday.
  • Start Early, Finish Strong: Begin your day at 4:00 a.m. and work until deliveries are completed.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with store management and provide excellent service on every delivery.
  • No CDL Required: A CDL is not necessary for this role, though a good driving record and DOT medical card are required.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Safely load, transport, and deliver products to convenience stores according to the delivery schedule.
    • Verify delivery details and ensure accurate delivery of products.
    • Unload products using a 2-wheeler or pallet jack and stage them based on customer needs.
    • Handle and account for returned products, missing items, and empty totes/crates.
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper disposal of shrink wrap.
    • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
    • Work some overnight shifts as required and adhere to safety guidelines, including onboard camera monitoring.

    Qualifications:

    • Must be 21 years of age or older with at least two years of safe driving experience.
    • Good driving record and current DOT medical card required.
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in varying temperature environments.
    • Basic math skills and functional use of the English language for communication, reading, and writing.
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
