Senior Plumbing Mechanic

Employee will be hired as a Senior Plumbing Mechanic.

Job description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Plumber to install, maintain and repair sanitation units & grease trap systems, water and gas supply lines, heating systems, and associated fixtures and appliances in a commercial environment. You will also be required to inspect plumbing systems, perform diagnostics, and ensure they comply with regulatory codes.

You should be able to work independently as well as be willing to teach/inform those in office & others on the field. Solve problems as quickly and efficiently as possible. Need to be strong with technical skills, be a master at troubleshooting and be able to interact with customers for any of their concerns or questions.

• Installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Cutting, welding and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures.
• Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
• Handling customer queries and responding to call outs.
• Troubleshooting and resolving problems.
• Performs plumbing and heating repairs and installations as required.
• Will perform service work at a 70% utilization minimum.
• Must arrive on site promptly and prepared.
• Must maintain a neat and clean appearance.
• Must maintain a personal set of plumbing hand tools.
• Must maintain company supplied tools and equipment.
• Must maintain a neat and well stocked company truck.
• Must learn and master use of company supplied tablet.
• Must care for and answer company phone.
• Must be prepared to work overnight or late night hours.
• Will be on weekend call rotation and must respond promptly.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Plumbing: 4 years (Required)
• Grease Trap: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Plumbing License (Required)
