Overview of Position:

The Mobile Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a mobile retail unit. This role involves organizing, building a schedule of events and locations to set up, driving, setting up, and managing a mobile store (truck-based) with a strong focus on driving wireless service sales. The ideal candidate will have exceptional planning skills, a high attention to detail, and a passion for achieving sales targets while ensuring a smooth, customer-focused operation. This role will include evening and weekend work.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Sales Management:
    1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
    2. Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and implement effective sales techniques.
    3. Motivate and lead the team to deliver exceptional customer service and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Mobile Store Operations:
    1. Drive the mobile store to various locations as scheduled, ensuring safe and timely transportation.
    2. Set up and prepare the mobile store for daily operations, including merchandising, signage, and inventory management.
    3. Planning and execution of special events.
    4. Ensure the mobile store is clean, organized, and compliant with all safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Planning and Logistics:
    1. Create detailed itineraries and schedules for the mobile store’s operations, including location planning and event participation.
    2. Coordinate with other departments (inventory and marketing) to ensure the mobile store is stocked with necessary products.
    3. Collaborate with Marketing team, Retail Operations Manager and Sales Operations Manager for planning, scheduling, driving awareness and lead generation.
    4. Manage the logistical aspects of the mobile store, including fuel, maintenance, and equipment setup.
  • Team Leadership:
    1. Recruit, train, and manage a small team of sales associates who will assist in the daily operations of the mobile store.
    2. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to ensure the team meets sales and customer service standards.
    3. Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and customer satisfaction.
  • Attention to Detail:
    1. Monitor inventory levels, sales trends, and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions.
    2. Ensure accurate record-keeping for sales transactions, inventory, and operational expenses.
    3. Continuously assess and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
  • Additional Duties: Responsibilities may include other duties and functions as assigned by management.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • High school diploma/GED required; Associates Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years proven retail supervisory experience (interactive sales process, commissioned sales); Minimum of 2 years experience in selecting, managing and developing employees (proven leadership skills).
  • Minimum of 5 years proven retail sales management experience preferred; Minimum of 3 years previous experience with back office systems (billing, call center, etc) preferred
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the mobile store’s schedule.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate a large vehicle (e.g., truck, van).

  • Ability to meet physical requirements of bending, stooping, lifting, sitting, and standing. Ability to use computer/keyboard and general office equipment, and ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
