Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide a range of hairstyling services, including cuts, trims, shampoos, blow-drying, styling, and color treatments.
  • An ability to do pedicures and manicures is a plus
  • Consult with residents to understand their hairstyling needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly sanitized and in good working condition.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and staff.
  • Manage scheduling and appointments to meet the needs of the residents.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to hairstyling services.
Qualifications:
  • Valid state cosmetology license.
  • Proven experience as a hairstylist, with experience working with seniors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and understanding of the needs of elderly residents.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your schedule.
  • Professional liability insurance (preferred).
