Position Summary This position will work with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure the accurate and timely assembly of electronic products. This role will work on assembling electronic components or products according to engineering instructions, blueprints, and quality standards.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Perform Assembly of FLIGHT electronic components and product chassis
  • Mechanical assembly using manufacturing work instructions
  • Keep updated records on builds and update travelers
  • Understand and follow written instructions and manufacturing process instructions
  • Keep workstation tidy and maintain a safe, clean working environment at all times
  • Visually check subassemblies and assemblies for completeness/correctness of previous operations and for foreign object debris (FOD)
  • Additional manufacturing tasks as assigned, including conformal coat touch up
  • Will work in other areas of production on the manufacturing floor as needed based on product volumes and priorities
  • Use variety of hand tools
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years manufacturing experience
  • Must have the ability to read and understand work instructions
  • Communicate effectively orally; good interpersonal skills; pays attention to detail
  • Speaks, reads and writes in the English language
  • Basic reading and math skills
  • Comprehend and apply modern fabrication and assembly techniques
  • Understand ESD best practices, understand manufacturing and quality control processes
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one-year recent electrical assembly experience
  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, and kneel
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be proficient with the use of hand tools
  • Ability to work OT as required
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Frequently required prolonged periods in stationary position at a desk entering text or data into a computer or other machine by means of a traditional keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to move, position self, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally transport up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers, far visual acuity, and peripheral vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Hourly Range

$26.00 - $30.00 Per Hour

However, Innoflight considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills. Employees may be eligible for-profit sharing and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. In addition, Innoflight provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, 401K, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
