To continue to meet our customer’s mission critical needs, PDC is seeking a Surface Mount Tech A to join our respected and valued team.

This position is 100% onsite in our Bohemia, NY corporate headquarters.

The compensation range for this role is $25-$28 hourly.

This position requires a U.S Person or a person who can qualify for a department of state or commerce license.

Responsibilities

  1. Set-up, operate and maintain MPM Momentum II Stencil Printer.
  2. Set-up, operate and maintain Mycronics MY300 Pick and Place
  3. Set-up, operate and maintain Heller Reflow Oven.
  4. Set-up, operate and maintain CTI System Laser Marker.
  5. Maintain necessary documentation.
  6. Perform inspection in accordance to IPC-A-610.
  7. Ensure process and equipment remains within acceptable company manufacturing standards.
  8. Interface with the various machine manufacture technical support groups when required.
  9. Cross train on other department functions

Preferred Skills:

  • High school diploma or vocational training.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Ability to work with metric and decimal calipers.
  • Willingness to Learn New equipment.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of Windows 98 & Windows XP
  • Ability to follow established procedures on routine work. Needs some supervision
