Role: Mainframe Cobol developer

Location: Exton, PA

Type: Contract

Mandatory Skills:

• Minimum 5+ years development experience with Cobol, DB2
• Hands on experience in JCL, Procs etc.
• Minimum 3 years working in both Unix/Linux environment's
• Experience of working in Agile environment
• Good problem-solving skills, ability to infer from previous examples.
• Excellent communication skills; Proven development experience in Cobol, DB2
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Remote with the exception of a training week when the resource will need to be onshore

Good to have:

• Knowledge of Commercial banking would be a plus.
• Coding using API's is a plus
• Good research skills

Job Duties:

• Should be able to perform independently with minimum support.
• Excellent Communication skills and must be able to conduct him/herself independently.
• Responsible for development, enhancement, testing, support, maintain and troubleshoot/ debug software applications that support business units or support functions.
