Job Summary:

We are seeking a freelance Prop Stylist based in New York to join our team of creatives. The selected individual will play a crucial role in bringing product stories to life through editorial, compelling visuals. This position requires a highly motivated individual capable of conceptualizing, creating, and executing creative projects aligned with our brand vision. The focus will be on generating engaging content across various channels, including in-store displays, online platforms, and social media.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Collaborate with Slate Studios Management and creative agencies to design projects within brand guidelines.
• Lead multi-channel creative strategy and brand development.
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and communications with creative agencies.
• Prepare design presentations for management.
• Create layouts for final production.
• Assist in the creation and organization of design templates.
• Conduct conceptual and visual research as required.
• Manage and maintain logos, branding, and advertising design concepts.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree, specializing in graphic design or art direction.
• 3+ years of direct design experience within the fashion or beauty industry.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
• Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong understanding and interest in current trends in fashion, beauty, design, art, music, and culture.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently deliver high-quality work.
• Excellent typographic skills.
• Efficient time management and productivity.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a small team environment.

Day Rate:

The rate will be commensurate with experience.
