Duties and Responsibilities
  • Inspect residential roofs, siding, and gutters to assess damage and determine necessary repairs or replacements needed.
  • Provide detailed, accurate estimates and plans for repair and maintenance work.
  • Ensure all roofing operations comply with safety and building code standards.
  • Drive company vehicle to various job sites as required by the company's schedule and commitments.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain the process and provide updates on the progress of repairs or installations.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and team members to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in training and development sessions to stay updated with the latest roofing techniques and products.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and proper stocking of the company vehicle and equipment.
  • Assist in the collection of payments and signing of contracts
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Roofing Technician or similar role in the roofing industry.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Strong ability to assess roofing, siding, and gutter issues and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Excellent skills in providing customer-focused service and solutions.
  • Solid understanding of the latest building regulations and safety standards related to roofing and exteriors.
  • Physical ability to handle the demands of the job including lifting heavy items, climbing ladders, and working at heights.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in sales or customer service is considered an asset.
