Job Summary

This position plays a crucial role in providing and ensuring guests have an exceptional experience by working closely with Guest Services/Front Desk team to provide a warm and inviting initial welcome to all Mirbeau Guests. The ideal candidate is charismatic, energetic, positive and embodies a can-do attitude.

Pay Rate: 15.50-19.50 p/hour Part Time/Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Report to work with a clean uniform and appropriate nametag at the scheduled time.
  • Open doors and welcome guests using Forbes/Mirbeau approved language and warm energy.
  • Escort guests to their rooms, check their room keys, and assist with any additional guest requests.
  • Assist Mirbeau guests with their luggage and with any other assistance they need.
  • Report lack of room supplies to the appropriate department.
  • Deliver guest packages, gifts, flowers, dry cleaning, laundry, etc.
  • Keep Bell closet, Bell stand, lobby, and entryways clean, stocked and organized.
  • Promote and up sell the resort facilities.
  • Provide information, maps, brochures, as requested by the guests about the facilities, surrounding areas, and local tourism.
  • Report guest complaints to the appropriate department management and assist in problem solving.
  • Log and store lost & found items.
  • Attend all scheduled meetings as deemed necessary by the resort.
  • Define, recommend, and implement ideas, and solutions to improve the operation.
  • Perform any additional tasks or assignments as directed by Front Desk/Guest Services Management & the Resort Manager.

Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements

Requires a neat appearance, good personality, and exceptional communication skills. Prior customer service experience helpful but not necessary. Must be able to stand for long hours, lift at least 20lbs, and push/maneuver a rolling bell cart. A current valid driver's license is preferred.
