Journeyman Electrician

Amp Check Electric is currently hiring for the position of Journeyman Electrician. We are seeking a skilled and experienced electrician to join our team. As a journeyman electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You will work independently or as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide appropriate solutions
• Conduct inspections to identify potential electrical problems and recommend preventive measures
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
• Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, and other team members as needed
• Keep accurate records of work performed
• Provide guidance and supervision to apprentices and less experienced electricians

Requirements

• Valid journeyman electrician license
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a journeyman electrician
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Attention to detail and strong work ethic
