Job Summary

As an Apprentice Electrician with IMSCO Technical, you will install, repair, and service conduit, wiring, and equipment in an industrial environment. You will work under the mentorship of the Journeyman Electrician and Electrical Service Manager.

Electrical Apprentices use various hand and power tools to perform various tasks, including voltmeters, ammeters, scanners, and testers. Must be able to perform the following duties listed below but not limited to:

  • Work under the direction of a Journeyman or Lead Journeyman Electrician
  • Understand and apply directives.
  • Follow through and complete tasks as directed
  • Use hand and power tools safely
  • Have the aptitude and desire to learn
  • Work in a small or large team
  • Make customer satisfaction and job execution top priorities
  • Apply and adhere to the NEC and applicable State and local codes as directed

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to identify wires accurately
  • Ability to demonstrate safe operation of hand and power tools
  • Good work ethic
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Good time management
  • 1-2 years of electrical industry experience preferred, but will train the right candidate
  • Ability to safely work from ladders and lifts and be able to stand or crouch for extended periods and be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Possess a valid Texas Apprentice Electrician license or willing to apply upon accepting the job offer
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to pass a background check
