As the Chief Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our organization by overseeing the estimation process for construction projects, ensuring accurate and competitive bids, and supporting our business growth through effective cost analysis and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the estimating team to develop comprehensive and accurate project cost estimates.
  • Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine labor, material, and time requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
  • Oversee the development of bid proposals and provide guidance on pricing strategies.
  • Conduct risk analysis and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and guidelines during the estimation process.
  • Participate in negotiations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing and terms.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
  • Provide accurate and timely budget forecasts and cost reports to support project planning and decision-making.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes, tools, and methodologies.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of estimators and cost analysts.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using estimation software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Sage Estimating).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of project management principles and contract documents.
  • Proven track record of successfully winning bids and delivering profitable projects.
