Report to: Service Manager


JOB DESCRIPTION

The Cashier provides excellent customer service to all customers of the service and parts departments. He or she receives and processes payments, explains the repair process to customers, ensure bills and invoices are accurate, and answer phones as needed. In addition, the Cashier may complete opening/closing procedures, maintain files of all important documents and customer information, and provide administrative assistance to the service advisors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Greets customers and delivers excellent customer service both in person and on the phone with a smile and in a friendly professional manner.
  1. Ensures protection of customer information by continually following Information Security procedures
  1. Maintains a general understanding of the repair process and explains the process to our customers
  1. Receives payments from customers, records the amount received, takes change due, and issues receipt to customer
  1. Reconciles cash drawer
  1. Files within appropriate file system all service/parts forms, records, reports, correspondence, or other important material
  1. Keeps repair orders current by entering appropriate charges
  1. Provides clerical and administrative assistance
  1. Completes opening and closing procedures
  1. Answers the phone as necessary.
  1. Performs other duties as assigned.

  1. New and used car repositioning on sales lot as required.

Benefits:

Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, short/long term disability and basic life/ AD&D insurance after 60 days of employment. Car Pros sponsors 80% of basic medical (Kaiser Permanente), dental and vision insurance for employees. Employees pay the additional cost for dependents and any voluntary elections.

Employees can enroll in company’s 401k plan after one year of service. Employees will accrual one-hour personal time off for every 30 hours worked.

Pay: $19/hr
