What you need to be successful in this role:

  • Attendance at work.
  • To maintain accurate accounting records and reporting in compliance with GAAP.
  • Analyze financial information and make recommendations as it relates to job costs.
  • Perform account reconciliations and audit reports.
  • Develop and analyze cost standards. Make recommendations for setting standard costs of manufactured goods.
  • Prepare financial statements for management review.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable duties as required.
  • Be able to follow work procedures and instructions both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well with other team members, performing work in a safe manner.
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting.
  • Strongly prefer at least two years practical experience in accounting profession.
  • Experience in a manufacturing/cost accounting environment is desired.
  • Experience may be substituted, at management's discretion, in lieu of a degree.
