Overview

Now Hiring Custodian

Location: Pataskala, OH

Salary: $18/hr.

Job Summary:

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and well-kept conditions within the factory setting. This position involves regular cleaning and upkeep of both restrooms and the factory area. Must be able to work independently and have a strong work ethic and diligence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and lunchroom areas.
  • Empty and dispose of trash in both factory and restroom areas daily.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and perform routine inspections and
    maintenance of the equipment.
  • Monitor stock levels for supplies and ensure the restroom and lunch areas
    are always stocked.
  • Help in any minor repairs or adjustments needed to factory fixtures as
    needed.
  • Follow company protocol and procedures to ensure a safe working
    environment.
  • Support special projects or company events or meetings.
  • Work well with others in a factory setting.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies including disposal methods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 Lbs.
  • Ability to perform basic repairs using hand tools.
  • Proven working experience as a janitor.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Follow instructions and work independently.
