Responsibilities
  • Vehicle cleanliness
  • Vehicle auction list
  • Detail scheduling
  • Running trades to detail
  • Inspecting details
  • Working with wholesalers
  • Handle outside or sublet services on repair orders
  • Gassing vehicles, including trades
  • Installing Federal and certified stickers
  • Focus on lot condition and arrangement
  • Check used vehicles on a regular basis for cleanliness and condition
  • Running cars to other stores or turning in trades to shop for repairs
Qualifications
  • Valid Illinois driver's license with a good driving record
  • Good organizational skills with ability to multi-task
  • Basic mechanical skills
  • Broad knowledge of all types of vehicles
  • Able to jump start cars when needed
  • Must be a team player with a can-do attitude
  • Able to work without supervision
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information 
  • An eye for detail or Detail experience a plus
  • Professional personal appearance
  • Able to drive manual transmission
Hours
  • Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM with a one-hour lunch
