Irrigation Technician

Join HEORES Lawn Care as a Lead Irrigation Technician in Keller, TX. Responsible for meeting customers to conduct maintenance and repair on irrigation systems. Offer recommendations on additional products and services following a thorough 35-point property inspection. Identify issues, propose solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction by resolving all concerns. Collaborate with the Owner/General Manager to enhance production efficiency and uphold top-notch customer service. Work closely with office staff to streamline scheduling and optimize routes.

$18 - $22 hourly

• As the Lead Irrigation Technician for Heroes Lawn Care in Keller, TX, US, your responsibilities will include meeting residential and commercial customers to provide maintenance and repair services for irrigation systems
• Utilize your expertise to offer recommendations to customers regarding additional products and services that may be beneficial
• Conduct thorough 35-point inspections of properties and irrigation systems to identify any potential issues and propose suitable solutions
• Collaborate with customers to address their requests and complaints effectively, providing valuable recommendations for enhancing their irrigation systems
• Work closely with the General Manager to streamline production efficiency and uphold exceptional customer service through efficient scheduling and route planning
• Install and troubleshoot smart irrigation controllers, ensuring optimal water coverage by configuring zones accordingly
• Educate customers on system usage in a friendly and informative manner
• Demonstrate proficiency in maintaining and repairing irrigation systems and associated components, including irrigation lines, sprinkler heads, control panels, valves, pumps, etc.
• Perform seasonal maintenance tasks on irrigation systems for both turn-on and winterization purposes
• Meet or exceed monthly production targets as specified by the General Manager
• Undergo cross-training in various departments to offer backup assistance when needed

• Must have one or more years of experience in the irrigation industry and related principles/practices
• Ability to follow policy and procedures
• Knowledge or willingness to learn how to use tools, equipment, techniques, skills, materials, and operation of irrigation systems
• Ability to operate equipment such as trenching machines and digging tools related to grounds and landscaping equipment
• Strong sense of teamwork and communication, and able to perform independently
• Very detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to keep efficient notes and records
• High energy, positive attitude, and forward-thinking
• Ability to complete company-sponsored training to enhance knowledge and skills
• Must have a clean driving record and pass an internal insurance background check to operate a company vehicle
• Irrigators license and/or plumbing license is a plus
• Must be able to demonstrate willingness to be flexible and adapt to change
• Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict and make effective decisions under pressure
