Seed/Sod Crew Foreman

Full-time, year-round employment at $15.00-25.00 per hour. DOE. Snow removal pay differential. Bonus/benefits structure. 2-3 years of seeding or sodding experience is preferred. Perform/oversee all seeding and sodding operations with a crew of 2-3 workers.

Major Accountabilities:

• Seeding, fertilizing, hydro-mulching, erosion control blanket and sodding
• Grade work with skid steer
• Ability to lead/teach laborers and the ability to speak with homeowners
• Ability to read blueprints and use correct seed or fertilizer
• Follow all health and safety regulations including wearing appropriate protective equipment and following Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for safe handling of fertilizers and other dangerous materials
• Clean working areas and maintain tools and equipment
• Must have CDL or ability to get one
• Ability to mobilize/haul equipment on trailers
• Snow removal tasks i.e. plowing, hauling, ice control, shoveling, etc.
