Description:
This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care for patients according to organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The RN is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care using specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills appropriate to the physical and developmental needs of patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients' condition and response to treatment.
- Plan and implement nursing care plans based on patient assessments and nursing diagnosis.
- Evaluate the outcomes of nursing care and modify plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records and prepare reports as required.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
- Provide patient education and support to patients and their families.
Requirements:
- 2 years of recent Telemetry nursing experience - REQUIRED
- Comfortable taking Med Surg patients on the Telemetry unit - REQUIRED
- Stroke experience listed on the resume at each facility where experienced - REQUIRED

- Two supervisory references (one from within the last 6 months and one from the last 12 months)
- Skills Checklist (current within 1 year)
- RN license (must be active)
- Certifications (must be active at time of submission): NIH Stroke Scale (completed via NIHStrokeScale.org), COVID vaccine (declinations not accepted)
