Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Description: Bucktown family seeking an experienced Nanny who will be interactive and engaged with their child Looking for a patient, calm, and loving Nanny to join their family of three. Start as soon as possible.
 
Schedule: Guaranteed 36 hours a week. Scheduled hours will be Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:30pm
Compensation: $25-$30/hour + vacation, holidays, sick days.
 
Job Details and Responsibilities:

• One infant—6-months-old.
• Primary responsibilities are the day-to-day care of the child including playtime, bottle and meal prep, changing diapers, monitoring naps, and taking the child on walks and activities.
• Light housekeeping includes tidying and organizing the child’s areas, child’s laundry, washing child’s dishes (also loading/unloading the dishwasher), and keeping track of the child’s needs (diapers, wipes, snacks, etc.).
• Nanny should be knowledgeable regarding child development and milestones (moving to solid foods, potty training, motor skills, etc.). Should be able to provide developmentally appropriate activities.
• One parent works from home a few days a week. Nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement.

 
Qualifications:

• Extensive, verifiable Nannying experience with infants and toddlers.
• Nanny is looking for a long-term commitment with a family.
• Nanny should be warm, caring, and patient. Will be able to foster a positive relationship with the children and the family.
• Nanny should be a self-starter and organized. Will be able to plan activities and keep track of children’s needs. Ability to take initiative, be proactive, and anticipate family's needs.
• Reliable, punctual, and communicative. Is open to feedback and comfortable giving it as well.
• Flu, COVID, and TDAP vaccines required.
