One of the most beloved resorts in New England, The Woodstock Inn & Resort, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join the team.

Are you a detail-oriented and experienced individual with a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction? We are currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team and ensure the impeccable upkeep of our establishment. This position reports directly to the Executive Housekeeper and will collaborate closely with other department heads to ensure a seamless and efficient operation.

Responsibilities:

Daily Supervision: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, providing guidance and support to the housekeeping staff.

Guest Interaction: Maintain a significant level of guest contact, addressing inquiries, and ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.

Collaboration: Work closely with front desk staff to coordinate room turnovers, prioritize special requests, and ensure seamless communication between departments.

Room Inspections: Conduct thorough room inspections to guarantee the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation are consistently met.

Training and Development: Train new housekeeping staff, conduct regular performance evaluations, and identify opportunities for professional development within the team.

Inventory Management: Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and efficient use of resources.

Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce cleaning protocols to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a housekeeping supervisory role.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry standards.
