Cabinet Finisher

We are looking to grow our finishing department and take it to the next level. We need a key player to help achieve our goals. This position is responsible for finishing wood materials and helping others in our manufacturing shop. You must have at least 1 year of experience in finishing, preferably with a spray gun. You must have basic knowledge of different veneers and solid woods. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Pay is based on experience. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Ability to read shop drawings.
• Ability to follow a schedule and look ahead.
• Experience using spray guns & pump systems is a plus.
• Experience in mixing stains and colorants is a plus but not necessary.
• Ability to sand and prep jobs prior to painting or staining.
• Knowledge of water-based paint and stains

• Help in the maintenance of finishing and sanding equipment.
• Cleans and organizes department's workstations.
• Displays a sense of urgency towards completing assigned tasks.
• Assists in developing solutions to problems.
• Maintains good attendance.
• Is dependable and displays a strong work ethic.
• Works within a team concept and contributes to a positive work environment.
• Demonstrates a professional attitude in approaching job assignment.
• Maintains a safe work attitude and environment and disposes of materials in a safe manner.
