A1 Nerdy Homes Movers LLC is looking for Movers to join our small team. We are a virtual-based company. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and reliable. Candidates should have their own reliable transportation due to work assignments requiring a lot of traveling between customers' locations. We are looking for people who can be available on-call within a minimum of 24 hours' notice. This is a Part-Time Position, weekends are required Training is $18/hr then once your complete training it's $20/hr


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Driving their personal vehicles to daily designated routes
  • loading and unloading customers items
  • Placing items where customer assigns them
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Move assembled and disassembled furniture
  • Provide excellent customer service



Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Have a current and valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work in a team setting
  • Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions
  • Ability to make independent judgments that have moderate impacts on the organization
  • Ability to lift 70lbs+ on a consistent basis
  • Must Be Willing To Take Background Check


Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The employee must be able to regularly perform light lifting and/or move up to 80 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 90 pounds. Moderate eye/hand/foot coordinate is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to temperature changes and workplace hazards.
