Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated Quality Inspector in partnership with a premier employer within the machining industry in Endicott, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality and computer skills.
Job SummaryPay: $20.00-$22.00 per hourShift: Monday – Friday: 7:00am – 3:30pm
Quality Inspector Position Duties:
  • Responsibility and ownership of all customer quality requirements to ensure a complete understanding of their quality needs and issues, and ensure their expectations are met consistently.
  • Precision mechanical inspection on first articles, first pieces, in process and final inspection.
  • Interprets drawings and standards with an understanding of geomertric tolerances.
  • Ensure all suppliers meet the necessary quality assurance and certification requirements as defined by company purchase orders.
  • Assist with internal and external quality audits as required
  • Work closely with the management team in resolving production quality issues and ensure quality procedures are accurate and updated as appropriate
  • Ensure all monitoring and measuring equipment are operating properly and are calibrated, if required
  • Support manufacturing initiatives as required
  • Reports nonconforming materials and products
  • Support customer relations activities as related to quality and reliability aimed at achieving total customer confidence and satisfaction
  • Promote and sustain a CFM-wide culture of continuous improvement

Knowledge, Education and Skills Required:
  • CMM Experience REQUIRED.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Strong Computer skills.
  • Proficient in GD&T to Interpret drawings and standards.
  • Experience with Solidworks Inspection Software preferred.
  • CAD training and experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma/ GED
