Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 27 branches throughout the United States. We primarily sell lumber products for our customers to make beautiful things and build happiness.

Position: We are growing and seeking a Delivery Driver You will deliver mostly hardwood lumber and sheet stock, doors, and other supplies. This position requires you to physically load and unload product and engage with our customers.

What’s in it for you:

  • Shift times vary depending on the route, any time from 4 am to 7 am. You will typically be complete by 4 pm.

Your Day-to-Day: to excel in this role, you will need to...

  • Use your CDL A or CDL B license to deliver products to our customers.
  • Potentially load and unload your truck, depending on the customer.
  • Work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies
  • Occasionally lift heavy products to store, remove from storage, or load onto a truck.

  • History of being a truck driver, delivery driver, and especially experience with a Class A CDL or Class B CDL.
  • Interest in working for a company that values hard work and loyalty.
  • Strong physical stamina – this role requires a lot of physical activity.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated – you should be a self-starter who doesn’t require constant supervision.
  • Experienced driver with a Class A driver's license (CDL A) or Class B (CDL B) driver's license and medical card
  • Able to pass drug test, background, Clearinghouse and motor vehicle pre-employment screen
  • Required to pass a driving test.
  • Must be able to pass a physical examination as required by the U. S. Department of Transportation
  • This role is a Safety Sensitive position and subject to routine drug screenings.
