Our client has created a world-class digital loyalty and subscription platform that helps their clients connect and build loyalty with their customers. Around the world they work with leading convenience and foodservice retail brands such as Circle K and 7-Eleven.

While it's HQ in Europe, they have build a sales and customer success team in Cleveland, OH. As a result of market demand, our client is seeking a true hunter to drive new lead acquisition and management to deal close. The Sales Development Rep will split their time between in office prospecting and onsite new client development as needed.

The successful SDR MUST come with proven experience selling to C-Stores and Fuel Retainers. Selling software is a plus, but not required.

We're looking for someone who is truly hungry – from hunting for opportunities from regional chains to navigating very large, multi-state organizations to nurturing and advancing a sales prospect with the WIN

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Lead Generation: Identifying and prospecting potential clients within the convenience retail and foodservice retail sectors who could benefit from our loyalty and subscription program solutions. This will involve conducting market research, leveraging industry contacts, attending trade shows, and utilising online platforms to identify new leads.
  • Lead Nurturing: Engaging with leads through various channels (phone, email, social media) to build relationships, understand their business needs, and showcase the value of Liquid Barcodes' solutions. Your role will be to guide leads through the sales funnel, answering their inquiries, providing demonstrations, and addressing any concerns.
  • Opportunity Conversion: Working closely with the sales team and stakeholders, you will nurture opportunities to convert them into signed contracts. This will involve developing tailored proposals, negotiating terms, and presenting compelling business cases that demonstrate the ROI of our solutions.
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our services. You will serve as a trusted advisor, providing ongoing support and ensuring client satisfaction throughout their partnership.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 to 5 years sales experience to Convenience Stores and Fuel Retailers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in lead generation and lead nurturing to successfully convert prospects into clients.
  • Knowledge of the convenience retail and foodservice retail sectors is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively present information to clients.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving industry and market landscape.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools is desirable, not a must.
  • Willing to travel as required, likely with material time on the road for client meetings and industry events.
