Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThis is an opportunity to work for a global manufacturer in the medical industry that has facilities all across the globe. Specifically, they are looking to hire a Maintenance Technician to join their maintenance team, of which 3 out of 4 folks are prior military. They are looking for someone who has a mechanical background (pnuematics, pumps, valves, gear boxes, etc.) that can learn their electrical maintenance.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance of plant machinery.
  • Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools, power tools and reassemble equipment.
  • Effectively perform maintenance with the use of tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws drills, wrenches, precision measuring instruments, electrical and electronic testing devices.
  • Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical components, pipe systems, and plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
Shift: 10am-5/5:30pm Monday-Friday
Pay: $25-30/hr+
Location: Buford, GA: 1hr NE of Atlanta, GA

RequirementsE3-E6 mechanics w/ 4+ yrs mechanical maintenance exp
- needs to have pnuematics, pumps, valves, industrial mech backgrounds
- think Machinist Mates, Gas Turbine Mechs, Crew Cheifs, AGE's - Client doesn't want facilities/car mech types
- needs to want to learn the electrical side if doesnt have exp - those that like maintenance
- solid SOP in hand, so those that can follow rules
1st/2nd shift type - 10am-5pm M-F
