Job Description:

The EVS Heavy Cleaner provides a clean and safe facility for guest and associates. Clean and sanitize the assigned areas following departmental procedures and sanitation standards to ensure the overall appearance of the equipment and any appliances.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning in the front areas of the food and beverage outlets or other assigned food venue.
  • Perform cleaning of the floor area of food and beverage outlets or assigned venue.
  • Perform specialized deep cleaning and service of escalator, elevator, tile floors, carpets, etc.
  • Cleaning casino and lobby bathrooms.
  • Cleaning and maintaining all casino machines and chairs.
  • Perform high dusting in the casino.
  • Removing garbage; empting and cleaning trashcans, walls and sweeping of areas.
  • Perform other cleaning duties as needed to maintain a clean and sanitized area.
  • Operate all and maintain cleaning equipment in a safe and proper manner.
  • Prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Perform as a team member and assist fellow associates to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Assist in cleaning of the equipment/appliances and correcting situations of possible accident.
  • Maintain daily documentation on cleaning of all equipment.
  • Must Role Model Company guest service program.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalency degree preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain a New York State Gaming License.
  • Able to lift and carry up to thirty pounds frequently
  • Requires frequent lifting, bending, pushing and pulling
  • Use of ladder and step stool
  • Standing and walking minimum of eight hour of shift.
  • Exposed to outdoor weather conditions in all seasons, including variable temperatures and wet and/or humid conditions
  • Occasionally exposed to hazardous materials when responding to spills or suspicious
  • Substance calls.
  • Gaming environment – noise level may be moderate to high during busy times
  • Weekends, Holidays, and swing shift work may be required
