We are seeking a highly motivated Attorney to join our law firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice, representing clients in court, preparing legal documents, and conducting legal research This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of the law. This full-time fast-paced role that offers a hybrid schedule and the potential to lead the family law division in the future.

Responsibilities:
  • Draft and file legal documents including legal pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgments, and orders.
  • Provide legal solutions to clients by evaluating their needs, analyzing the situation, and devising strategic action plans.
  • Manage the division of marital assets, such as real estate and retirement, during divorce proceedings when required.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure smooth progress through civil litigation processes.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings when necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date client files in an organized manner.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various legal matters.
  • Represent clients in court and other legal proceedings.
  • Prepare and file legal documents.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and currently passed the Texas Bar
  • Should have 0-3 years of experience working with a passion for family and probate law.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to negotiate especially in handling highly stressful and emotional situations.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to independently manage and handle their own caseload.
