Renviva is seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse who is looking to make a difference in a hospital setting. You can make a exceptional difference in the lives of our patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure for chronic kidney disease.

Dialysis experience preferred in hemodialysis and PD experience a plus. The candidate will need to be able to work independently and engage with Nephrologists, hospitalists and other hospital staff.

Would work with 2 different hospitals. Freeport and Dixon Il. Call 2 days during the week and weekend call every 5th weekend.

Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of hemodialysis experience. Salary commensurate with experience.

FUNCTION:

The Dialysis Registered Nurse is responsible for supervising and coordinating the

smooth and effective daily operation in the hospitals to maintain a safe,

efficient environment to provide optimum patient care. The position is responsible for quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, teamwork, culture and employee satisfaction within a dialysis unit.

The position is responsible for understanding, supporting, interpreting, and

implementing the philosophy and policies of the corporation.

Assure the direction of assigned areas in accordance and compliance with

standards outlined in the facility procedure manuals, as well as regulations set

forth by the company, state, and federal agencies.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:

1. Demonstrates applicable knowledge of policies and procedures related to

Dialysis RN job descriptions.

2. Coordinates and supervises patient care and daily operations of the dialysis unit at the hospitals.

3. Provides leadership, direction, and encouragement to staff to develop

professional standards.

4. Manages time wisely and patient scheduling to optimize patient outcomes and labor

expense control.

5. Assumes responsibility and utilizes opportunities for personal and professional

growth.

6. Performs additional duties and is responsible for specific projects according to

ability and experience to keep the unit functioning as efficiently as possible.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Current active RN state licensure.

2. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

3. Minimum of 1 years experience in general nursing care plus minimum 6 months

dialysis experience preferred.

4. Excellent knowledge of water systems, bypass, and emergency water system

procedures preferred.

5. ICU/CCU experience desirable.

6. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, problem solving, and general management

skills.

7. Valid driver’s license and insurance when using automobile to travel for

business purposes, ability to travel.

8. Computer knowledge preferred.

9. Demonstrates reliability, good work habits, and emotional maturity.

10. Maintenance of current CPR Healthcare Recognition according to the American

Heart Association.

11. Maintains a telephone and able to be contacted at home outside of normal

business operations.

15. Possesses reliable transportation.
