We seek a dynamic and skilled Manufacturing Engineer to enhance our manufacturing processes, optimize efficiency, and drive continuous improvement. Your expertise in automation, Six Sigma, lean practices, and production line management will be crucial in ensuring our products meet high standards of quality and reliability.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes and systems.
  • Create drawings, tools, and bill of materials for solenoid build-to-print contracts.
  • Identify automation and robotic integration opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle times.
  • Apply Six Sigma principles to analyze production processes and lead projects to reduce defects and variability.
  • Oversee the design and optimization of production lines, ensuring optimal throughput and product quality.
  • Serve as a technical resource for the production team, troubleshooting product and process issues.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by training and mentoring team members on best practices.
  • Lead the completion of PFMEA when required by the customer.


Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 3 to 5 years of SolidWorks experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Demonstrated managerial and leadership skills
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functions for data analysis and modeling
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and materials
  • Proven expertise in automation, Six Sigma methodologies, and lean manufacturing principles
  • Familiarity with production line design and optimization
  • Strong analytical skills to identify process bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
  • Independent thinker and self-starter with initiative
  • Mechanically inclined with a passion for technology in manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
