Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Summary

The Inventory Control Specialist updates stock records and related information in Oracle to monitor the accuracy of inventory levels. Performs inventory transactions and manages daily cycle counting and monthly inventory reporting. Assists in customer complaint handling utilizing Netregulus software. Performs receiving and distribution tasks as needed.

Duties
  1. Schedule and coordinate complete daily cycle counts which includes the physical count tasks including: report preparation, monitoring physical counting, reconciliation, and data entry.
  2. Ensure all daily inventory transactions are accurately and promptly entered into Oracle and maintain records.
  3. Generate monthly expired lot report and supervise the physical movement of stock to correct locations and sub-inventory’s and perform Oracle transactions and system reports.
  4. Generate monthly cycle count report to include total items, pieces, dollars counted, and all adjustments.
  5. Monitor inventory transactions to develop and/or recommend improvements in inventory procedures and work instructions.
Duties - cont'd
  1. Assists in shipping complaint handling utilizing Netregulus software. This includes input, research, and reporting to Manager.
  2. Reviews, monitors, investigates, and reports on inventory that is in the On Hold and Review areas.
  3. Works with Distribution, Purchasing, and Customer Service to provide assistance with inventory variances and shipping complaints.
  4. Provides locator set up function in Oracle for incoming items that do not have a location assigned.
  5. Process inspection receipts utilizing the AS400 system and performs sub-inventory transfers in Oracle.ving and distribution tasks as needed.

Salary info:

$19 - $22 / hr
