Senior Chemist

Quest Car Care Products is in search of a Senior Chemist.  In this newly created position, you will have the opportunity to guide us in setting up our new lab in our new facility  This is an exciting opportunity to not only set things up the way you would like, but also to ensure the quality of our current products and work on innovative mixtures to ensure our customers have the best possible products This position requires someone with high initiative and desire to take our chemicals to the next level.   We are a growing organization, and we are looking for someone who can help grow our team.

Quest Car Care Products manufactures high-quality chemicals trusted by car washes, truck washes, and detailers. Our comprehensive range includes pre-soaks, degreasers, specialty cleaners, shampoos, ceramic-infused products, waxes, tire shine, dressings, fragrances, aerosols, and reclaim water care. With our strong marketing support and a dedicated team, we are committed to ensuring our customer’s success.

As a Senior Chemist with Quest, some of your duties may include:

• Batch analysis, communication to blenders on how to fix a problem when detected.
• Assist in new product development, performance testing.
• Video demonstrations of product performance proving it works better than the competition.
• Provide technical support to the sales team, SDS creation, regulatory info & other internal departments.
• Occasionally participate in calls with sales representatives and customers for product explanations, troubleshooting, etc.
• Offer product demonstrations to customers who visit our facility.
• Manage lab supplies.
• Train a Junior Chemist when needed to help with daily tasks.

We expect our ideal Senior Chemist to have the following:

• Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on chemical lab experience
• Car Wash chemical experience preferred
• Ability to demonstrate creative thinking process
• Lateral thinking skills
• Strong analytical skills
• High Initiative
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
