East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation (EBALDC) is seeking for (2) Youth Volunteer in the Resident Community Services department supporting the properties at Prosperity Place, Noble Tower, and Madison Park Apartments.
- Collaborate with staff to design and execute a diverse array of activities tailored to different age groups, including reading groups, arts and crafts, outdoor exercises, recreational games, and field trips.
- Foster an environment that encourages active participation in these programs, enhancing readiness and engagement within the community.
- Uphold and enforce behavioral standards and discipline protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
- Implement effective conflict resolution strategies to maintain a harmonious and safe program environment.
- Strictly adhere to the confidentiality guidelines as mandated by EBALDC.
- Provide exceptional customer service, treating all parents, family members, and participants with courtesy, compassion, and responsiveness.
- Sustain strong, continuous communication with youth participants, their families, staff, and external partners to foster robust community ties.
- Manage data entry tasks across various digital platforms efficiently, ensuring timely updates and accurate tracking of customer interactions and program metrics.
- Organize and maintain all necessary documentation, including sign-in sheets, enrollment forms, and permission slips, in accordance with program standards.
- Assist in the development and achievement of program goals set by Resident Services Coordinators and managers, tailored to meet the specific needs of participants and align with grant requirements and organizational objectives.
- Maintain a consistent work schedule, adhere to time-off procedures, and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Participate in training and development initiatives to continually enhance personal skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
