As an Overnight HR Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our 24/7 operations by managing HR duties outside of standard business hours. This position requires a vigilant, proactive individual who can handle various HR responsibilities including employee inquiries, crisis management, and immediate compliance issues effectively throughout the night. You will ensure that our overnight workforce feels fully supported and that HR services are seamlessly extended around the clock.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide real-time HR support to employees and management on overnight shifts, addressing concerns and queries as they arise.
  • Monitor and manage immediate employee relations issues, ensuring quick resolution and compliance with our internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and reports, including timekeeping and attendance for overnight staff.
  • Coordinate with daytime HR staff to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of HR practices and policies.
  • Administer and enforce company policies and procedures during the night shift to ensure a safe, productive work environment.
  • Handle emergency response and crisis management, coordinating effectively with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
  • Proven experience in an HR role, preferably with experience working night shifts or in a 24/7 operation environment.
  • Deep understanding of employment law, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, including employee relations, compliance, and crisis management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of handling sensitive matters with tact and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make informed decisions during overnight hours.
  • Resilient and adaptable, comfortable working in a dynamic and potentially high-pressure environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Must be able to work at onsite at our facility in Bethlehem.
