Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe’re hiring a Structural Steel Designer for our Houston, TX client We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB: Job Title: Structural Steel Designer
  • Location: Manvel, TX
  • Pay: $35-$40/hour
  • Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
  • Duration: Direct Hire
  • Description of Duties: Create project drawings from blueprints, sketches and photos; design plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software; work from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers and architects; specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for products.
  • Requirements: Must have experience with Cadworx and AutoCad Inventor/Revit; experience with Plant Designs (PDMS) and Tekla (Structures/PowerFab) preferred; knowledge of steel construction/fabrication and estimating required; ability to create BOMs
