Job Summary:
Steve Coury Ford, in Star Valley, Arizona, is seeking an Automotive Controller to join our team. This is a full-time, salaried position in the Accounting & Finance department of our dealership. As the Automotive Controller, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the dealership, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, implementing financial controls, and providing strategic recommendations to improve profitability. This is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive base salary. 

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations of the dealership, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory
- Manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
- Develop and implement financial controls to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly financial close and reporting processes
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas of improvement and provide strategic recommendations to increase profitability
- Work closely with other departments to ensure operational and financial goals are aligned
- Manage and mentor a team of accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as assigned by senior management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the automotive industry
- Previous management experience is required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
