Job DescriptionOur client, a prominent company in residential and commercial glass specializing in custom design and installation, is looking for a Glazer Helper to join their team. In this role, you will support our skilled glaziers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of various glass products. If you have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality, apply today to take the next step in your career Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and setup of job sites, including the safe handling and transportation of glass materials.
  • Support glaziers in the installation and repair of glass windows, doors, mirrors, and other glass structures.
  • Measure and cut glass according to specifications. Read tape measure correctly.
  • Clean and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and address any issues that arise.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a construction, carpentry or glass-related field is a plus but not required.
  • Strong willingness to learn and follow instructions.
  • Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
  • Basic understanding of hand tools and safety equipment.
