- Assists with the implementation of human resource procedures and process
- Work closely with supervisors to ensure crews are staffed for the most efficient operation for both the farm and the plant
- Assist with orientation for new and returning employees including all hiring and training paperwork
- Translate Spanish to English and English to Spanish daily between employees and managers, both oral and written
- Answer employee day-to-day questions regarding benefit explanation and employment opportunities
- Maintains confidentiality of department files, including personnel files and, unemployment, wages, and benefits information
- Processes employee paperwork for new hires and terminations.
- Coordinate luncheons with Co-owner and new hires.
- Assist with the administration of incoming calls to ensure exceptional customer service
- Assist with office tasks to include copying, faxing, emails, data entry, etc.
- Maintain drug and alcohol screening list for all employees
- Back-up reception desk as needed, including taking the majority of Spanish language calls
- Maintain an extremely high level of confidentiality
- Work with outside businesses and organizations and comply with requested employment verifications
- Perform other duties assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum H.S. diploma or GED
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
- 6 months to 2 years relevant experience, education, and/or training
- Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office
- 1-2 years of experience working in a customer service environment
