Scanning Clerk

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionEmergent Talent, a division of Emergent Method, is seeking candidates to support a centralized document team. This is a full-time position based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The ideal candidate should be experienced in an office setting and possess strong technical and time management skills. This position requires the candidates to work on-site.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Scan, enter, and index documents originating from mail, email or fax,
• Scan and manage documents using email and multifunction printers
• Scan a defined number of documents per day to meet a daily and weekly target.
• Review documents and data entry for accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality of information received while scanning.
• Report any equipment issues to supervisor.

Qualifications        

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of work experience preferred
• Experience in using content management systems including Onbase
• Strong organizational skills
• Possess basic computer skills
• Strong time management skills and deadline oriented
