Global Account Manager

PRIMARY FUNCTION OF POSITION:
Proactively leads the account management of specific global customer accounts on a unified, multi-group basis, in order to develop solution strategies to fit customer needs and to maximize sales and profits. This position must ensure that the portfolio of customer programs and customer expectations in all of Libra's Global sites are efficiently managed.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
· Responsible for managing customer accounts, relationships, and agreements on a global basis.
· Escalation Point of Contact for customer concerns.
· Builds and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction by directing the necessary Libra resources to meet customer needs and solutions on a global basis.
· Leads the development and implementation of appropriate response strategies.
· Responsible for gathering, interpreting, and disseminating forecast market data provided by the customer, sales personnel, and company marketing programs.
· Implements strategies to recognize new revenue and margin opportunities.
· Manages all on-going customer issues, commercial issues, platform engineering issues and communication issues.
· Leads a team of customer focused Business and Program Managers focusing on their:
o Personal and professional growth
o Business performance
o Workload balance
· Formulates and develops comprehensive business plans for each account to address:
o Sales growth activities
o Technology
o Market information
o Competitive information
o Pricing Strategies
o Global consolidated Gross Margin Strategy
· Ability to travel up to 35%
Requirements:EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Experienced manager of programs, sales accounts, and customer service.
· Technical background to ensure understanding of complex customer solutions.
· Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills to work effectively with key cross-functional disciplines including Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales and others.
· Well-organized business manager capable of setting objectives, prioritizing activities, and leading business teams.
· Experience in contract review, negotiation and value added pricing.
· Skilled in the development and implementation of program and project plans.
· A good listener with outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills.
· Strong analytical skills and a disciplined approach.
· Must be able to travel globally.
· Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree or equivalent experience.
SKILLED/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and other appropriate business programs.
· Proficient in data analysis.
· Strong Project Management understanding across multiple toolsets, Smartsheets experience preferred.
· Knowledge of ERP software systems.
· Program Management (PgMP) Certification or similar.
· Minimum 5-7 years of Program, Sales and/or Account Management experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· While performing duties of this job, the employee is required to have good hearing and sight.
· You will need to be able to walk the shop floor and be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
