Children's Lighthouse located in the Woodlands is looking for the a Curriculum Specialist to join our management team. We provide a great team work environment, competitive full time hourly wages, and benefits.

Experience/Education:
A. Has 1 year CLLC or other related experience in phonics curriculum and has 2-year minimum class experience.
B. Ability to communicate with and motivate others.
C. Consistently follows through with all assignments.
D. Excellent role model to teachers and maintains a model classroom.
E. Stays abreast of developments in the field of Early Childhood Education.

Curriculum Duties:
A. Monitors staff's weekly lesson plans to ensure curriculum is being implemented daily, and to ensure the appropriateness of other planned activities.
B. Assists in coordination of school-wide special events.
C. Coordinates sharing and use of supplies requested by teachers. (Receives teacher supply requests, fills requests as much as possible in house and makes list of items that need to be purchased.)
D. Monitors staff training plan for all new hires.
E. Works with teachers on Quality Assurance Checklist.
Administrative Duties:
A. Keeps inventory of curriculum materials, child and teacher, during the year and in the summer for school.
B. Assists with ordering curriculum supplies in the Fall.
C. Keeps track of training hours for all employees (enters staff training hours and files certificates in state staff files).
D. Completes any additional miscellaneous duties assigned.
Company Team Duties:
A. Communicates company trainings to center staff and organizes attendance.
B. Selects outside trainings and organizes staff to attend.
