Circle of Life Home Care is seeking personal care assistants in multiple locations across South Dakota, North Dakota and Minnesota. We pay attractive compensation (hourly rates) that are among the highest in our industry and competitive peer group.

Seeking competent personal care assistants to support physically or mentally challenged individuals in their everyday lives. The fulfilment and satisfaction that comes with helping others surpasses the challenges of this job. If you are a compassionate, positive person who is not afraid to work hard, then this is a job for you. We expect you to be polite and a good communicator. Experience in housekeeping task, independent living services and caring for the elderly or individuals with disabilities will make you a strong candidate.

Compensation: Hourly, dependent on experience. $400 sign on bonus ($200 paid after 90 days, remaining paid after 180 days)

We have multiple positions open & all staff must meet the following criteria:

- Have the ability to work with individuals with disabilities.
- Assist clients with identifying and implementing skills needed to promote independence.
- Participate in five hours of training in disability and service-related topics annually.
- Able to pass a State Background Study
- Valid Driver’s License with less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, this includes DUIs
- Maintain reliable vehicle
- Maintain valid car insurance
- Maintain a cell phone
- Personal and Home Supports tasks

Job Duties, include:

- Ensure clients receive their medication on time
- Support clients who can’t move on their own
- Help clients dress, bathe, eat etc.
- Assist clients with physical therapy exercises
- Cook meals according to the customer’s restrictions
- Help customers with their shopping
- Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
- Provide emotional support
- Inform physicians or supervisors about uncommon events
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

No experience necessary we will train.

COVID-19 considerations:

During the Pandemic, we are providing PPE (masks, gloves, gowns) for our workers. We are also requiring both clients and workers to follow DHS and CDC guidelines.
