About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and successful Planner (Capital Programs/Reporting) who will be working on improving capital plans, looking at them in a bigger picture, producing annual reports and managing capital improvement programs. The project will emphasize planning, reporting, business economics, and program management.

This is a 2+ year, full-time, position located in Washington DC. The position can be performed onsite or in a hybrid or remote capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and assembly of a report that will include all potential scopes of work, cost and budget data, schedule studies, and other pertinent technical data.
  • Support the work of the project managers and program managers.
  • Daily support activities for presentations and document support.
  • Support the project in developing graphics, presentations, and reporting material for the capital program.

Skills and Attributes

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Planning, Business, Economics or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience in planning; not urban planning but more from the program management side; including planning-level analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency with data visualization software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

Compensation Details

The salary range listed for this role is $95-125k annually. It is not common for starting salaries to come in at the very top of the range; they usually fall somewhere in the middle. The final salary offered is based on multiple factors and is thoughtfully aligned with each candidate's level of experience, breadth of skills, total education achieved, certifications/licenses that have been obtained, etc.
